Spoon Mountain Spa Tent
The Spoon Mountain Spa Tent is a luxury African safari tent under the oaks, climate controlled for treatments year round. Massages, facials and couples sessions, and every treatment includes use of the infrared sauna, the hot tub and a shower. Open to overnight guests and day visitors alike.
With every treatment
Every service comes with time in the facilities before or after your treatment, so plan to stay a while.
Warm up slowly before your massage or sweat it out afterwards. Infrared heat works deeper at a lower temperature than a traditional sauna.
Soak under the oaks. The hot tub is steps from the tent and included with every service, whatever the season.
Rinse off and head back to your day, or back to your tent. Towels and everything you need are provided.
Treatments and prices
Classic European massage technique to improve circulation, relieve muscle tension and promote relaxation. Book an individual session, a couples massage side by side, or a prenatal massage for a babymoon.
Prices do not include gratuity. Thai massage, hot stones, prenatal and cupping depend on provider availability, so book ahead. Traditional Thai massage combines assisted stretching with rhythmic pressure, performed clothed on a floor mat, no oils used.
Open to everyone
You do not need to be staying overnight to book. The Spa Tent welcomes day visitors from Wimberley, Austin and San Antonio as well as Spoon Mountain guests.
We are located at 210 Masonic Lodge Road, Wimberley, TX 78676. Pull into The Med Spa parking lot and keep to the far right, then follow the gravel drive up the hill and park in one of the spots marked Spa Tent Parking.
Booking is by call, text or email. We confirm a therapist is available for the tent before anything is locked in, so reach out with a day and time and we will find you a slot.
Make a night of it
The Spa Tent sits steps from three adults-only safari tents, each with a private pool, an outdoor soaking tub and a king bed. A couples massage the afternoon you check in is the way most guests start.
